Van Osdol & Magruder Celebrates 70th Anniversary

According to Bob Beachy, president of Van Osdol & Magruder, their plan calls for the firm to be The Biggest Little Law Firm® in Kansas City. “We will continue providing a full-range of services to our clients while maintaining a focus on business representation and estate planning.” Beachy, who joined the firm in 1971, said there were only six attorneys practicing mainly business and estate law. Now, the firm has 15 lawyers and will maintain the small firm atmosphere. Recently, Van Osdol & Magruder recruited lawyers who worked for large regional law firms including Husch & Eppenberger LLC, Shook Hardy & Bacon LLP and Bryan Cave LLP. Ten of the firm’s current 15 lawyers have been recognized as SuperLawyers, six have Master’s Degrees in either business or tax law and seven belong to the Estate Planning Society of Greater Kansas City.
