“It’s Just Business.”
That was the famous quote from Michael Corleone in the Godfather. As he so aptly demonstrated, there are many features to “just business.” Business is people, but also numbers, marketing, product development, manufacturing and many other things. The business practice at the Biggest Little Law Firm® in Kansas City comprises many different disciplines within the law. We obviously excel at business formation and maintenance, but an integral part of the practice also comprises employment law, tax law, real estate law, intellectual property law and all the other things that go into making a business successful. Most of all, however, we are interested in the personal relationship with the people in a business. We have been a valued counselor to our business clients since Frank Terrell founded the firm in 1940.

Because we are a small business ourselves, we can relate to the challenges of planning for the future, service to clients, marketing the business and payroll. We take special pride in helping our clients with the planning process from the initial decision about choice of entity when the business starts, through the tough growing periods and finally to the stage where a transition needs to occur so the founders can relax and enjoy the fruits of their hard won successes. We are invested in our relationships with our clients from the inception of their business right through retirement and thereafter.
“…After all, the chief business of the American people is business.” – Calvin Coolidge
