Van Osdol & Magruder Celebrate 75 Years!

April of this year marks 75 years of legal service for the Biggest Little Law Firm® in Kansas City. Frank H. Terrell came to Kansas City from Parsons, Kansas, in the 1920s and practiced with a number of the best regarded lawyers in the city at various times until he formed his own firm in 1940. Since that time we have been privileged to serve a lot of prominent Kansas City families, the businesses they have owned and the charities they founded. Today the firm comprises 14 lawyers and continues Frank’s tradition of representing family owned businesses and many of the important people who make Kansas City a vibrant town. Our partners are all recognized by Super Lawyers and the firm continually receives an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell. Of equal importance to us, we have continued Frank’s tradition of community leadership. Frank was responsible for the formation of the Lawyers’ Association of Kansas City and instrumental in the beginning of the Kansas City Bar Association. Since then our lawyers have held countless leadership positions both within and without the Bar. We look forward to another 75 years of leadership in the community and the joy and fulfillment of great relationships with our clients.
