Plaza Lights: The plaza lights have been illuminating Country Club Plaza since 1925, now with over 80 miles of lights and 280,000 multi-colored bulbs outlining the shopping and dining district. Photo Credit: MazumaFYKC Christmas in the Park at Longview Lake: 300,000 lights and 175 animated figures transform Longview Lake Park into a charming winter wonderland. This is a free attraction from November 22nd through December 31st. Downtown Marriott: The downtown Marriott located at 200 W. 12th Street, shows glittering light displays on the outside of the south side of the downtown hotel. Displays range from Santa and his reindeer, to falling snow and even a 20 story candy cane! Christmas Card Lane: More than 200 homes in Olathe participate with Christmas lights and holiday cheer. Take 151st Street to Ridgeview Road. Turn left on Ridgeview and enter Christmas Card Lane on Butterfield Place. Lee’s Summit Magic Tree: This magical tree is located at I-470 and View High Drive, Kansas City, Mo. You don’t want to miss it! This display is outstanding and worth the drive. It runs Sunday-Thursday from 5:30-10 p.m. and Friday & Saturday from 5:30-11 p.m. Musical Christmas Light House: These homes have thousands of lights set to a joyful mix of Christmas tunes:

Paulie’s Penguin Playground: At 16617 Indian Creek Parkway, Olathe, Kan., you will find the largest private display in Johnson County. Bender Christmas Light Path: At 12303 West 105th Street, Overland Park, Kan., you will find the 11th year for the Bender Christmas Light Path. It features a light path based on the game Simon. The yard is divided into four quadrants: blue, red, gold and green, and the path crosses the intersection of all four quadrants. Supervised children are welcome to walk the path to Santa. Arnott Christmas Display: At 12612 West 70th Terrace, Shawnee, Kan. Tune your radio to 107.5 FM to listen to the program, which operates from 6-10 p.m. and watch the lights glisten to the music.
