Now that we have completed 75 years of success as Kansas City’s Biggest Little Law Firm®, the challenge becomes what to anticipate in the next 75. Because planning is what we do, as we plan for our own continued success we are evaluating what is important. Certainly, client satisfaction and benefit is at the top of the list, but right next to that is the ability to maintain the collegiality and respect that we enjoy among our partners and associates. We have been blessed with good lawyers who are also good people and can work together as a team to further the profession and the success of our clients. Our lawyers are good enough to work for almost any law firm in town, but they are here because of our culture and the people who comprise the firm. We are more interested in our relationships with our clients than how much money we can make from the practice. That is the reason our fees are lower than the big firms to which we compare ourselves. For that reason, we move forward with the announced purpose of helping our clients plan for their successes, regardless of our size or theirs. Whether a 100 million dollar business acquisition, a multimillion dollar lawsuit, a traffic ticket, a first time home purchase, or a will for young marrieds, all of our clients deserve the best planning partner available….
