Van Osdol & Magruder is known as The Biggest Little Law Firm® in Kansas City for a reason. We’re smaller than the big guys, and that’s how we intend to stay. It helps us to better serve our clients and if we were too big, we wouldn’t be so little anymore. Have no doubt that when we move our office this month, we will continue to stay true to who we are.
Our law firm was founded in downtown Kansas City, Missouri in 1940 by Frank Terrell. When Mr. Terrell started, downtown Kansas City was the hub of business for the area. Over time, businesses have moved out of the downtown loop or even out of the Kansas City area. Van Osdol & Magruder has stayed put. Even though we’ve moved our offices over time, we still stay true to us: The Biggest Little Law Firm® in Kansas City. We are relocating a little…from our current office on Main Street to a new location on the 15th floor of the Commerce Bank Building at 1006 Walnut. The new location will allow us to stay in downtown Kansas City, but it will also allow us to modernize. We want a better space for our attorneys and a better space for our clients. We’ll still be there to offer a great value to our clients while watching legal expenses, and we will continue to stay true to who we are without getting too big.
