Shawn Stogsdill joined the firm in August of 2008. He graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1997 and earned an LLM in taxation from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law in 1999. He was a visiting scholar at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
For the past 15 years, Shawn has represented businesses and individuals in a variety of corporate, estate planning and tax matters. His experience and expertise allows him to help his corporate clients successfully navigate the numerous and complex legal issues they and their owners experience throughout the course of an enterprise’s lifetime.
Shawn has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for the past six years and is on faculty at William Jewell College, where he has taught as an adjunct professor of constitutional law for the past 15 years.
When not at work, Shawn can be found scouring the United States for antiquarian books or running up and down Kansas City’s soccer field pretending he still in his twenties.
