You may have heard that Bob Beachy suffered a mini-stroke that affected his speech at our office a couple of weeks ago.
Most of the partners and staff were relieved that Bob was silenced for a minute or two, but it turned out that the relief from his vocal outpourings was very short.
He was back in the office the next day with nothing to show for the episode but a slight speech impairment that occasionally makes it seem like he has been to the dentist with a shot of Novocain.
It certainly didn’t keep him from going on a planned nine day fishing trip to Montana. We are relieved to report that there was no other physical or cognitive impairment, but despite Bob’s claims to the contrary, we haven’t noticed that it has made him smarter than before.
