The E. F. Wildermuth Foundation in Columbus, Ohio has announced that it has elected Elizabeth Patterson as Secretary to its Board of Directors.
“I am pleased to be a part of our Family Foundation with such rich history and track record of charitable giving to so many organizations,” Ms. Patterson stated.
The Wildermuth Foundation was incorporated over 52 years ago by Liz’s family as a Private Charitable Foundation to perpetuate the family’s contributions to a wide variety of charitable and non-profit organizations. The Foundation has a very interesting philanthropic and operating history as it supports a 250-year-old non-denominational operating church as well as managing the original family’s functioning farm. It oversees a considerable investment portfolio as well. “Elizabeth’s legal and business acumen brings a wealth of knowledge to our Board and we are looking forward to her contributions over the coming years,” said Christopher Campbell, Board Chair.
To date, the E.F. Wildermuth Foundation has contributed almost $8 million dollars to various charities located in Columbus, Ohio and the Midwest. In June, 2014 the Wildermuth Community Church will hold a celebration commemorating its 200th anniversary of continuous operation.
