Posted By: Bob Beachy Christopher Brown joined Van Osdol & Magruder, P.C. in 2010 after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Drawing on his Business and Entrepreneurial Law Emphasis, he practices primarily in the areas of Business Law, Estate Planning, and Intellectual Property Law. While in law school Brown served on the staff of both The Urban Lawyer and the UMKC Law Review. He also served as the Technical Editor of the UMKC Law Review and published a comment, Copyleft, the Disguised Copyright, for which he earned the Candler S. Rogers Award for the most outstanding work of legal writing submitted to the UMKC Law Review during the 2009-2010 academic year. Brown also received several CALI Awards for the highest grades in a single class and was actively involved with various organization and clinics including the Entrepreneurial Legal Services Clinic and the Intellectual Property Legal Society.
