She practices in both Kansas and Missouri, and handles a broad range of business, real estate, and charitable matters. Boushka graduated from St. Mary’s of Notre Dame with a B.B.A. and the University of Kansas with a J.D. She was at Lathrop & Gage LLP for 21 years and with Sildon Law Group for five years. Boushka served as President of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Kansas Bar Association. She also devotes time to legislative and other matters of the Probate Law Advisory Committee of the Kansas Judicial Council. Boushka authored the KBA Journal article (November 2002) Navigating the New Kansas Uniform Trust Act: Familiar and Unfamiliar Waters. She also authored the Spouses’ Elective Share chapter of the Kansas Bar Association Estate Administration Handbook.
