Meet Bobby Taylor
Bobby joined our firm as an associate in September of 2017 after being admitted to the Missouri Bar and the U.S. Courts Western District of Missouri.
Bobby concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, corporate law, and taxation issues. He assists clients with business formation, choice of entity decisions, contracts, tax planning, and general corporate needs. In addition to his areas of practice, Bobby has significant interest in corporate and personal finance.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Business Management from Louisiana Tech University, Bobby pursued a career in business. During this time of his life, Bobby developed a deeper appreciation for education. Wanting to learn more about the inner workings of business, Bobby pivoted and pursued a dual degree in law and business. Bobby received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration with emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 2017. Seeing the importance and impact of tax on every business decision, Bobby is currently working on finishing his Masters of Law in Taxation at the UMKC School of Law.
During law school, Bobby served on the UMKC Law Review all journal staff, as the director of the Transactional Lawyering Skills Board, as an Emissary for the Law School, completed the school’s Pro Bono Honors Program, and competed on two of UMKC’s School of Law competition teams in the area of corporate transactional law. Bobby received several honors and recognitions during his time in law school. He graduated from UMKC Law School with the distinction of Cum Laude, was a winner of the Marvin and Patricia Rich Corporate Law Prize given each year to the law school’s most outstanding corporate law student, and received further recognition for his legal studies with CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Corporate Tax, Partnership Tax, and Advanced Partnership Tax.
Bobby is married, and he and his wife have two young children.
